Founded in 2013, ArtSnacks is a curated subscription box service of unique, high-quality art supplies, with a mission to inspire people through the discovery of amazing art materials. Every month, subscribers discover new products, limited-edition tools, exclusive supplies, and useful techniques through our service. Subscribers are encouraged to create an original work of art using only the supplies in their monthly box, and share it with the rest of the ArtSnacks Community – we call this the #ArtSnacksChallenge.
ArtSnacks currently offers three different subscription box options: ArtSnacks, LetteringSnacks, and WatercolorSnacks. Products found in these boxes can also be purchased in the online ArtSnacks Shop.
ArtSnacks is seeking a passionate, sales-oriented, and self-motivated professional to join our remote team on a contract basis. This position is responsible for managing our quarterly subscription boxes. Each quarter, you’ll establish themes and products for boxes, lead sales/marketing efforts, and systematize the subscription lifecycle – from concept to completion. Working with the creative team, you’ll assist in building highly compelling marketing campaigns that drive subscriptions and customer retention for each quarterly subscription.
What you'll do:
Take the lead on executing the quarterly subscription production process, while working on a budget within deadlines
Work closely with the founders in all stages of the curation and buying process
Responsible for achieving growth targets on a quarterly basis, while uncovering insights and identifying the levers of customer acquisition and retention behavior
Manage content distribution through multiple social media channels
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the customer profile for each quarterly subscription in order to better support decision making on themes, product assortments, and customer experience
Work with the team on product strategy, co-marketing and growth strategies, and filtering through feedback and data from customers
Identify relevant market and industry trends to inform planning and decision making
What we’re looking for:
2-3 years experience in marketing and product management, specifically in web/retail consumer product businesses
Ability to think analytically and offer fact-based strategic insights
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a "no task is too small" attitude
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Superior communication skills
Obsessed with all things art and art supplies
Current or former customer of ArtSnacks
Online and in-person customer service experience
Experience in managing branded social media channels
Knowledge of Google Drive, Mailchimp, or any other email marketing/service platforms
Artistic background (ex. drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking)
