Lee Rubenstein

Founded in 2013, ArtSnacks is a curated subscription box service of unique, high-quality art supplies. Their mission is to inspire people through the discovery of amazing art materials. Subscribers discover new products, limited edition tools, exclusive supplies, and useful techniques. Members are encouraged to create an original work of art using only the supplies in their box and share it with the rest of the ArtSnacks community — this is called the #ArtSnacksChallenge.

After 12 years of inspiring creativity, ArtSnacks will be closing its business at the end of 2025.

ArtSnacks is the creative brainchild of Sarah and Lee Rubenstein, a sister-and-brother team. They grew up fully immersed in the arts, from summer theater/dance camps to RISD pre-college programs. Their love of art and creativity continued through high school and college – Sarah holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Lesley University College of Art & Design, and Lee received his BFA in Media Arts from Pratt Institute. They both continue to create something new every day.
