Art Class with Amelia

Introducing a weekly, online class for artists of all skill levels: Art Class with Amelia! Hosted exclusively on ArtSnacks Mix by illustrator Amelia Gossman, this hour-long class will cover the foundations of art and help you become a stronger and more informed artist.

By signing up for the class, you’ll have 24/7 access to a private group on Mix where students can connect with each other, post their work, and give constructive feedback. Every week, you’ll also have the option to participate in a drawing assignment.

If you miss a week or need a recap, don’t worry! All classes will be saved to the group for later viewing.

Meet the Teacher

Amelia Gossman is an illustrator from Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her BFA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and will hold a MFA in Studio Arts from Towson University by 2024. Amelia teaches art classes at the Baltimore Academy of Illustration, and is an adjunct professor at Towson University.

  • Art Class with Amelia is a weekly, online class for artists of all skill levels. This hour-long class will cover the foundations of art and help you become a stronger and more informed artist. It’s taught by illustrator Amelia Gossman.

  • There is no box affiliated with this class, but there will be a designated page on the ArtSnacks Shop where you can purchase materials for class.

  • Yes, you’ll receive your first two weeks for free when you sign up. If you decide the class isn’t for you, you can cancel before your free trial is over to avoid being charged.

  • Art Class with Amelia costs $29/month or $299/year. You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal. We do not accept checks or money orders.

  • This is an online class that’s hosted in a private group on ArtSnacks Mix. You will receive an invite to the group once you sign up.

  • This class is recommended for ages 7+. Artists of all levels are welcome to join. Internet access is required.

  • Beginning March 1, 2022, this class takes place at 7pm ET every Tuesday.

  • Some topics that will be covered include: line, shape, value, color, perspective, and more!

  • There will be optional homework assignments. Homework participation is encouraged if you are looking to gain new skills and develop healthy drawing habits. There are no grades given in this class. Any work you complete in the class may be shared in the private group on ArtSnacks Mix for feedback or questions.

  • All classes will be recorded and saved to the private group on ArtSnacks Mix so you can watch them anytime.

  • Nope! You can sign up for Art Class with Amelia whenever you want.

  • Once you become a student in the class, you’ll have access to a full list of suggested supplies posted in the private group on ArtSnacks Mix. Most of these products will be available for purchase in the ArtSnacks Shop. Amelia will also post a supply list to the private group before every class, so you can prepare!
